Jackson Hole’s January has been off the charts. The big mountain ski resort in Wyoming has had over five metres of snow so far this season with more on the way and we have the images to prove it.
The most recent January 8 day storm brought over 160cms and allowed the famous Corbet’s Couloir to open for the first time this winter.
But the season just gets better with a powder alert for up to another 18 inches (45 cms) this Friday and Saturday.
Who’s excited? I am and I’m not there till next month.
Remember though that with all this snow and the epic side and back country terrain that Jackson Hole is renowned for it’s important to stay safe and know before you go.
