Celine Perrilon first discovered the ski resort of Alpe d’Huez in France as a little kid visiting her godmother who had an apartment in the town. Today she lives in Alpe d’Huez year round and has called the French resort her home for fifteen years.
This is her guide.
Why Alpe d’Huez
First of all the sun. It is a sunny place (300 days of sunshine per year). Then, I love the open-air plateau. The landscapes and the panoramic views from 3330 meters are so impressive. It is a lively place, during both seasons.
During the winter, I can practise snow activities and in summer I can go cycling, mountain biking, hiking, climbing. We have the Tour de France in Summer and the Comedy Film Festival in Winter.
There are so many different activities to do.
