This coming Monday, 31 August, marks the deadline for the lowest price on the Epic Australia Pass. The Epic Australia Pass replaces Perisher’s popular Freedom Pass and offers guests unmatched access to unlimited, unrestricted skiing and boarding at Perisher for the 2016 ski season, plus access for the 2016-17 ski season to nine world-class ski resorts in the U.S.
Available for just AU$749 for adults, AU$429 for students and AU$499 for seniors, the pass pays for itself in just 6 days. Pass holders gain access to over 35,000 acres, at Perisher; Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City in Utah; Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in the Lake Tahoe region of California and Nevada. The Epic Australia Pass offers a value unmatched in the ski industry.
“The Epic Australia Pass offers unparalleled access to the best skiing and boarding in Australia and the U.S.,” said Kirsten Lynch, chief marketing officer of Vail Resorts.
For those looking to visit the Best of the U.S. during the coming 2015-2016 northern ski season, Vail Resorts’ Epic Pass allows guests to ski as much as they want, whenever they want, at 11 resorts in the U.S., as well as Perisher during the 2016 ski season. The lowest guaranteed price of the Epic Pass is US$769, only through Monday, 7 September, 2015.
Epic Australia pass holders can look forward to US$50-million in new improvements connecting Park City and Canyons to create 7,300 skiable acres of terrain; the project is one of the most ambitious and impactful capital programs in U.S. ski industry history and will be ready for the 2015-16 winter ski season. The plan includes the eight-passenger two-way high-speed Quicksilver gondola with mid-station and new trails, upgraded King Con and Motherload Lifts, new Miner’s Camp Restaurant, snowmaking upgrades and restaurant renovations.
Vail Resorts will also invest approximately US$10-15 million more in other resort improvements to elevate the guest experience, bringing its five-year resort investment total to more than US$515 million. Improvements will include upgrading Vail Mountain’s Avanti Express Lift (#2) to a six-passenger high-speed chairlift, expanding the “refreshing” snowmaking system at Beaver Creek, adding new snowmaking on the recently opened Peak 6 terrain at Breckenridge and rejuvenating the Keystone Lodge.
