Oyuki Sencho Mitt
Oyuki gloves are tested in Japan and are the brain child of Rhythm Japan founder, Matt Hampton. The Sencho Mitt is goatskin leather with an adjustable double layer cuff to create a seal under your jacket. There’s a Gore Tex membrane and 200gram Primaloft Gold Insulation for weather and warmth.
We’re not a fan of mittens without internal fingers and the Sencho doesn’t disappoint. There’s even a touch screen tip on the outside of the mitten – not as user friendly as an inner liner with touch screen but when it’s super cold in the Japan powder you’ll be thankful it’s on the outside.

Hestra Touch Point Warmth – 5 finger
We’ve personally test driven this one while in sub zero conditions at the bottom of FIS World Cup events. This is essentially a liner glove but we wore it with fingerless shearling over the top to keep the touch screen digits accessible while reporting on real time scores. The beauty of the liner is you can use it under your ski gloves or mittens during winter and for running and hiking during spring.
