Finally there’s a ski resort on sale that we can all afford to buy. It even comes with people. Kind of.
LEGO’s upcoming City Ski Resort knows it takes a team to run a resort so they’ve included three ski patrollers, a helicopter pilot, a ski shop salesman, beverage vendor and even a skier, a snowboarder, two kids and a customer. Plus a snowman and a snow dog. Woof.
There’s a two story ski patrol hut, loads of snow style vehicles including a helicopter, snow mobile and a groomer. Add a ski shop for rentals, a hot chocolate stand and even a halfpipe and grind rail with light for night time antics.
The kit is loaded up with skis, snowboards, goggles and the like and will, according to 9 to 5 Toys, cost around AU$100. The team at Promobricks say it will be available in Europe from August 23.
In the meantime MYER have a LEGO Friends Snow Resort Ski Lift for AU$50 on sale now.
Includes Mia and Olivia mini-doll figures in skiing outfits (cuuuuute), plus a Biscuit the bear cub figure (awww).
Add a ski lift with winch function, ski slope with slide function, mountaintop restaurant with service counter, table and benches, rock climbing wall, bear cub cave, mini slope, equipment hire stand and a trail map stand.
Accessory elements include a snowboard, skis, ski poles, binoculars, pie, sandwich, hot dog, cup, menu and a map.
Over to you Vail Resorts.
