With the anticipation of opening day and the descending snowline weighing heavily on skiers and snowboarders near and far, Whistler Blackcomb is proud to celebrate numerous awards and accolades for the 2016.17 winter season including being named the No. 1 Overall Resort by SKI Magazine for the third year in a row.

With plenty of early season snowfall, opening day on Whistler Mountain is scheduled for November 24. To date Whistler Blackcomb has received 47cm (19in) of snow since November 1, as measured at the Pig Alley weather station located on Whistler Mountain at 1,650m.
