The news you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived. Will Epic Pass holders require reservations to ski at Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham in 2021?

After the 2020 Covid season that saw Hotham and Falls Creek close for the season after only days open and Perisher skiers requiring reserved dates, we have good news for the season ahead.

While cleaning and safety protocols will be in place consistent with public health requirements, the resorts do not anticipate needing mountain access reservations this season.

Physical distancing will remain and masks will be encouraged and guests will be encouraged to purchase lift tickets online and in advance.

There will be QR check-in codes at indoor venues and as winter approaches, further information will be shared about resort operating plans as public health advice evolves.

Lift tickets on sale

Lift tickets for the 2021 season will go on sale at the end of May. Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham anticipate offering a full range of lift tickets, snowsports school and rental products for the 2021 season, all available for purchase from late May.

Epic Australia Pass price rise

The Epic Australia Pass price will rise by $100 on May 11 so if you haven’t bought one yet, now is the time. The pass is currently AU$539 for students (up to year 12) and AU$739 for seniors (65 years and over) and AU$949 for adults, with no mountain access reservations anticipated.

Opening day for the 2021 season at all three Australian resorts is currently set for 12 June.
