The countdown is on for the 2021 ski season with a number of changes expected at Australian ski resorts for skiers and snowboarders travelling to the snow.
Thredbo will release their Winter 2021 Season Passes in late March this year, after putting all season passes on hold in the Covid season of 2020 in favour of the online day pass reservation system.
The season pass is back in 2021 but there will be a cap on the number of season passes available in order to ensure appropriate social distancing. The cost of the pass is yet to be released but there will be no payment plan options, so expect to pay full price up front.
There will not be a Thredbo 365 year round pass this year, just two separate summer and winter products. The online reservation system this winter will not, at this stage, be required. Of course if government guidelines change, then the reservation system may return.
If Covid-19 forces any kind of closure of the season then season pass holders will be refunded the purchase price less the days scanned, and further terms and conditions will apply.
Those looking to purchase day or multi day passes, rentals and lessons for this season will have the opportunity to purchase these when they are released across late March and April. These product releases will be staggered across the two months.
At this stage, both Thredboland and Freerider lessons will be active this season for kids as will adult group and private lessons also.
