You know winter is around the corner when resorts open up their portals for season pass and lift pass prices.
Thredbo have announced their lift pass and lesson offerings for the 2023 season that kicks off on June 10 with an October 2 closing date.
The resort’s always hotly contended season pass this year is not cheap but they are also limited so lift lines remain short and manageable across the mountain.
You’ll pay $1749 for an adult and from $1079 for a child over five for a full season pass. This includes various added extras including six bring a friend discount vouchers for 5-50% off.
If you’re feeling flush, then for $1999 you’ll get the full season pass plus an Ikon Base Pass with up to five days at each of 33 global resorts (blackout dates apply) including Steamboat, Niseko and Chamonix and full access at 14 others.
There is also a “value” season pass for $1575 with school holiday blackouts and there’s a “mid week” season pass for $1399 with both school holiday and weekend blackouts.
Day lift passes are now available to purchase now with limited online date bookings, again to manage lift lines and visitor numbers. A one day pass in peak season is $199. However if you purchase up to 14 days in advance you will receive up to 35 per cent discount.
You’ll also save more if you purchase multi day passes online but you’ll need to know the dates you want to ski/board ahead of time.
Mountain adventures
Thredbo has also increased the number of bookings available this year for Sunrise Session, Merritts Mountain Haus Feasts, Kareela Supper Club and Kareela Hutte Dinners.
Bookings will be open online in April, so get in quick, these all sell out for good reason.
