Craigieburn Valley Ski Area offers discounted on snow accommodation in July and September.
Craigieburn Valley Ski Area (Craigieburn) may be a club field, but this winter it’s offering big value for non members to stay right up in the snow.
Close to Christchurch, Craigieburn has always been a huge favourite of Canterbury locals wanting an escape from the hustle and bustle of its larger commercial Ski Area neighbours.
Club members fill up the on snow lodges during peak season in August especially, but Craigieburn has plenty of capacity mid-week and in July and September.
Craigieburn club president Philip Young is keen to share the wonderful on snow experience with a wider range of skiers from all over New Zealand and even Australia.
“Staying on the snow is very unique in New Zealand. We have capacity for 72 people to enjoy dinner, bed and breakfast in our on snow lodges.
Our local club members can fill us up on peak weekends but the reality is we have plenty of capacity outside of these times. It’s a wonderful and unique experience.”
Craigieburn is offering a 50% discount on their on snow accommodation dinner bed and breakfast product for all of July and September 2016. The only stipulation is it must be booked by the end of May.
“Imagine watching the sun set across the southern alps, enjoying a wonderful evening high up in the Craigieburn ranges with dinner and a roaring fire and then waking up to pristine snow with only you and your fellow guests around” Philip Young said.
The July and September offer is open to all skiers and can be booked directly at www.craigieburn.co.nz.
