Customers flying on select Singapore Airlines flights from Sydney and Melbourne to Tokyo and London via Singapore will soon be able to enjoy the Airline’s newest cabin products with the deployment of new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
From 27 November 2014, customers flying from Sydney will be able to experience the new level of comfort and design offered on the new 777-300ER, and from 29 March 2015 in Melbourne.
The next-generation 777-300ER integrates the latest technology with cutting-edge design to offer customers across every cabin class more space, comfort and privacy as well as a state of the art KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system.
First Class seats designed by BMW Group DesignworksUSA, offering a new fixed-back shell design with curved side panels, upholstered in the finest leather with distinctive diamond stitching, to provide the ultimate in comfort, greater personal space and added privacy, in a 1-2-1 configuration. At 35 inches in width and with an increased fully-flat bed length from 80 to 82 inches, it is one of the most spacious First Class products in the sky.
Business Class seats designed by James Park Associates, providing a greater seat recline of 132 degrees, with improved ergonomic seat cushion and two new natural seating positions – Lazy Z and Sundeck, as well as greater stowage space within easy reach, in a 1-2-1 configuration. At 28 inches in width and with a fully-flat bed length of 79 inches, it remains one of the widest Business Class seats available.
Economy Class, with an innovative seat design to deliver additional comfort with more legroom, increased personal space and improved ergonomic comfort with backrest seat cushions and side bolsters for better back support as well as a unique sculpted headrest cushion, which supports an increased range of height adjustments to offer better neck support, in a 3-3-3 configuration.
At 18.6 inches in width and with a recline angle of 115 degrees along with a 11.1 inch in-built touch screen monitor, it offers one of the most generous Economy Class seats available.
A new and innovative KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system with a unique touch-screen graphical user interface and touch screen handsets along with in-seat power supply across all cabin classes.
