You heard it here first, Shaun White is scheduled to make an appearance at the Australian premiere of Warren Miller’s latest film, ‘Line of Descent’ in Sydney on May 16 at the Hayden Orpheum Cremorne.
Warren Miller films are already regarded throughout the snow industry as the way to kick off the winter and fuel the stoke. With Olympic gold medalist White in the crowd, and the recent snow storms in Australia’s alpine regions, the stoke is destined to get even hotter.
White will be attending the Warren Miller Australian premiere to promote his worldwide event Air + Style, a global urban snowboarding and skiing competition and music festival. The event is being held for the first time in Australia in Sydney’s Domain on August 3, 4 and 5 with a purpose built snow covered 16 story ramp.
The controversial snowboarder made headlines this year after securing gold in a tightly fought contest with Australian snowboarder Scotty James who won bronze.
Warren Miller’s Line of Descent is touring Australia throughout May and June this year with screenings in all major capital cities and regional towns.
The Sydney event will feature Warren Miller film partners with a mini expo in the foyer and fundraising by Air + Style partner, CLIF Bars, at the Sydney and Melbourne shows for Disabled Wintersports Australia (DWA).
