Queenstown got snow, a lot, and the locals went crazy building snow men that would haunt you in your sleep.
Local, Shaun Foster, posted his snow man in the Queenstown Trading group and invited others to post theirs. The results are a motley crew of creative uses of snow and accessories and the obligatory snow man genitalia from some.
When the snow falls and settles at lake level around these parts people go crazy like labradors at a park full of sticks. The snow fever gets to us all and before you can sing “do you want to build a snowman” you’re channeling your inner Da Vinci.
