Perisher has hit the 2 metre mark and to celebrate is extending the season for skiers and boarders until Sunday 7 October.

This winter has been exceptional in Perisher with great snow conditions from early in the season. Perisher has seen great snowfalls through the season, building the base across the four resort areas of Perisher Valley, Blue Cow, Smiggin Holes and Guthega to an incredible 203.9cm.

203.9cm is the deepest snow depth since 2004 and the skiing and boarding is simply epic!

Perisher’s Chief Operating Officer, Peter Brulisauer, said “We are thrilled, the entire resort looks sensational. With the most snow in 14 years we are excited to extend the season into the school holiday period in October for our guests to continue to enjoy the fantastic skiing & snowboarding conditions.”

Along with great skiing and snowboarding there are plenty of unreal events happening including;  Pete Murray Live At The Station, Australian National Mogul Championships, Australian Junior Freeride Championships, Banked Slalom,  Perisher Pond Skim and many more.
