We have done the event time conversions for you from Russia to Oz and listed the guide according to winter sport discipline so you won’t miss your favourite snow sport. Plus we’ve included the Australian athletes in each competition so you can cheer for them by name.

How to watch the Sochi Olympics in Australia

Roy & HG will pre-record a thirty minute show, The Ice Stream (now called Russian Revolution), in front of a live studio audience in Melbourne each day. The Russian Revolution will then be broadcast on Tenplay.com.au/sport/sochi-2014 as well as Samsung Stadium’s Sochi.

TEN eventually scored the rights to broadcast the Sochi Winter Olympics in Australia and this is how they intend to broadcast it. ONE on free to air will broadcast twenty four hour coverage of the Winter Olympics and Tenplay.com.au/sport/sochi-2014 online will have eight dedicated channels so you can view your favoured event.

TEN will broadcast Sochi Tonight at 6.00pm (Steve Quartermain and Alisa Camplin from the TEN Melbourne studio) followed by The Project at 6.30pm and then Sochi Live (featuring Roy & HG, Steve and Alisa in Melbourne and Mel McLaughlin in Sochi ) from 7.30pm to 8.30pm and overnight depending on date so check the Ten TV schedule daily.

Olympic gold medallist Steve Bradbury and World Cup medalist Steve Lee will also be providing expert commentary on the ground in Sochi. The rest of the commentary team will be based in Melbourne.
