Niseko revellers and residents are waking this morning to the news that Wild Bills has gone up in flames in a devastating fire.

The Niseko institution for après-to-remember (or rather not remember for many late night party goers who descend upon Wild Bills on the season regular) is a long time icon of the resort that put Japan skiing on the global map from 2006. Chances are if you’ve been to Niseko chasing your youth, then you’ve hit up Wild Bills.

Owner Dennis van den Brink of DNA Niseko posted a devastating update on social media images from the aftermath.

Thankfully no injuries have been reported.

Hirafu located lodge, Abenaki Lodge Niseko, posted footage of the fire on their social media in real time last night.

We have no doubt it will rebuild bigger and better than ever.
