Panorama Mountain Resort has announced new terrain, restaurants and more for the coming northern season.
If you’ve skied or snowboarded at Panorama in British Columbia in recent years then you’ll now about the Monster X Terrain in Taynton Bowl. A cat accessed backcountry style open bowl that is both controlled and patrolled so you can shred the ungroomed chutes, ridges and tree runs with confidence.
Phase two of the Monster terrain expansion will be completed in time for the first day of this coming northern ski season. Expect four more huge, steep and deep, double black diamond runs on the east side of Taynton Bowl.
The Monster X snowcat will continue to run on weekends and special dates announced throughout the season so you can reach the biggest terrain in the resort.
Foodies will be excited by not one but two new dining establishments at the resort. Picnic Cafe and Restaurant ElevenFIFTY are both undergoing a complete refurbishment with contemporary fittings and new menus.
The café will be moving to a new location and the restaurant will expand and take the Italian inspired menu of ElevenFIFTY to a new level with a Forno Bravo pizza oven as the centerpiece.
The Snowlicious Mobile Kitchen will also operate again this season. The roaming food truck style snowcat is the first in Canada and changes location serving up hot dishes and cold brews.
