“Play and Ski” with new Alaska Airlines service between Las Vegas and Mammoth Lakes.
Test your luck at the slots and then head to the slopes with new seasonal service operated by Alaska Airlines between Las Vegas, Nev. and Mammoth Lakes, Calif.
Alaska’s nonstop flight from Las Vegas to Mammoth Lakes will operate on Mondays and Thursdays between Jan. 15 and April 6, 2015, giving locals and visitors alike plenty of opportunities to experience “Sin City” and ski fresh powder at Mammoth Mountain throughout the winter season.
Alaska is offering introductory fares of $59 one way on tickets purchased by August 24, for travel from the service start date through April 6, 2015.
“The Vegas flight is a great arrow in our quiver for international markets,” said Michael Vanderhurst, director of sales and international marketing for Mammoth Lakes Tourism.
“These visitors often come to the U.S. for two to three weeks at a time. Latin America, the UK and Australia are three markets that will jump at the opportunity to experience a ski holiday at the legendary Mammoth Mountain, with the added bonus of being able to experience Vegas during their vacation as well.”
“We’re thrilled to offer our customers convenient, nonstop service from Las Vegas to Mammoth Yosemite Airport,” said Joe Sprague, Alaska Airlines’ senior vice president of communications and external relations.
“Located just 15 minutes from Mammoth Yosemite Airport, Mammoth Mountain Resort is one of California’s most-beloved ski destinations, boasting more than 3,500 acres of skiable terrain.”
