MOLLIE in Aspen is the latest hip hotel to open doors in the glitzy town of Aspen. Originally slated for a December 2023 opening, MOLLIE will now welcome guests in early 2024. Either way it’s ski season, dahlink.
The boutique 68 room hotel sits on the old site of the Mollie Gibson lodge on Paepcke Park in downtown Aspen.
Design is Japandi (a fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian or a fancy way of saying streamlined with minimal fuss) so expect a calm soothing environment to embrace you at the end of your ski day. Think white oak, terracotta, brass and warm neutrals and a hand dyed tapestry in the lobby with local artists featuring in guest rooms and public spaces.
With a rooftop pool and terrace, a cafe and restaurant, food is curated by the team behind Denver’s coveted Death & Co so you know it will be ‘grammable’.
Rooms range from spacious suites to cozy and snug and boast a gazillion brand names including L:A Bruket amenities, Parachute 100% Egyptian cotton sheets, Coyuchi organic robes, Sightlass coffee, Maison Balzac glassware, Kreafunk aMAJOR Bluetooth speakers and more.
Expect complimentary transportation around town and to neighbouring ski areas as well as a shuttle service to and from Aspen airport.
