Two days, two avalanches, both rated 4 out of 5 on the avalanche scale. Translated? These slides were deadly and they covered two ski towns in powder clouds. So it’s a miracle no one died.
With a dry start to the season followed by some heavy storms these avalanches were just waiting to happen.
