It’s not every day you get to ski or snowboard off a snow jump onto an air bag that breaks your fall and makes you look like the hero you know you are. Voila, all the glory without the graze.
It is, however, every day that someone is diagnosed with cancer in Australia. Almost 400 people a day will be given the news that they have some form of cancer with 145 000 new cases diagnosed a year in Australia alone.
All proceeds from the airbag tickets will benefit the foundation, so you know you’re jumping for a good cause and helping to make a difference.
Most skiers and snowboarders have been impacted by cancer either directly themselves or via family members and friends and most of us know the spirit lifting nature of skiing fresh snow in the mountains. Now you can lift that spirit high knowing your safe to land on an airbag.
Win prizes, meet huskies, party on
The day starts at 10.00am with the airbag jump open to the public until 3.00pm. There’s a BBQ in the Bowl from 11.00am until last lifts and three raffle draws throughout the day.
For every full day jump pass purchased your name will go into the draw to win two demo days from Blackbird Bespoke Ski Co along with two Mt Baw Baw lift passes valid until the end of the 2020 season.
The Howling Huskies will also be on site with $5 meet the huskies sessions with all proceeds going to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.
Then join the live music at The Alpine Bar for a variety of food and drink specials to finish up your day.
