The team at Ikon Pass released their 2020/2021 pass pricing today and it includes some exciting new additions for the Southern Hemisphere.
The pass, now in it’s third season, goes on sale on March 5 with 41 ski and snowboard destinations across USA, Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and South America. Think Aspen, Jackson Hole, Alta, Deer Valley, Revelstoke, Thredbo, Mt Buller, Coronet Peak and friends.
The best news for Aussies is buy it now and you don’t have to wait until next season to use it for your favourite southern resorts. You can use it this winter in Australia, New Zealand and South America, then ski/board all the Ikon Pass resorts in the northern season then if you have any days left use it again next southern season.
“In an effort to maximize the value of the Ikon Pass for skiers and riders in Australia, we have created flexible access across the 2020 and 2021 winter seasons at destinations in the Southern Hemisphere,” said Bob Stinchcomb, Senior Vice President, Alterra Mountain Company.
“We encourage Southern Hemispheres skiers and riders to purchase this fall and start using their Ikon Pass as early as June 2020 at Thredbo, Mt Buller, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, and Mt Hutt. And any days not used, will remain available for the 2021 season.”
Just split the Southern Hemisphere resorts of your 41 Ikon destinations across this season 2020 and next season 2021. Ski two days at your fave Aussie and Kiwi resorts this year, five days next or mix it up however you want.
That’s across Thredbo, Mt Buller, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, Mt Hutt and Valle Nevado.

For 20/21, the Ikon Base Pass will offer unlimited and up to five days access to 38 destinations. For an additional $150 USD, five days can be added at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and five days at Aspen Snowmass, with select blackout dates.
