If there’s one thing the Swiss do well (and there’s many) it’s fondue. Cheesey gooey bubbly fondue.
They also happen to do mountains well too, with over 65 percent of the land locked country dedicated to the Swiss Alps including 48 peaks over 4000 metres high.
Two of Switzerlands 350 + ski resorts are offering fondue gondola rides this winter so you can enjoy the spectacular views while filling your belly.
The pedestrian only cute as a button ski village of Saas Fee offers fondue and wine on an evening gondola ride in the town’s cable cars. Choose from a candle light gondola ride for two or a family gondola for two adults and up to four children. Experience Valais white wine, schnapps, fondue and dessert in the hour long ride over the town’s lights, complete with blankets and cushions.
