Air New Zealand know you want to ski at Mt Hutt and the club fields which is why they have flights from Sydney to Christchurch on sale from AU$169 one way. Not just from Sydney either, from Melbourne from $159, Brisbane $169, Gold Coast $189, Adelaide $279 and from Perth from $429.
They know you’re lured by the dramatic peaks of Coronet Peak and The Remarkables and azure lake waters of Queenstown’s buzzing resort town, and the crew also know that the laid back vibe of Wanaka and the ski fields of Cardona and Treble Cone may be more your thing. So they’re offering flights to Queenstown from as little as $219.
Mt Ruapehu is investing over $100 million in developments on the active volcano peak that is home to Whakapapa and Turoa ski fields. This hot ski town (see what I did there) can be accessed from Auckland or Wellington. So guess what? More sale fares for Aussies.
