Cardrona Alpine Resort has become the first alpine resort in New Zealand to introduce a lift pass for all seasons – the Gold Pass. Passholders will be entitled not only to unlimited skiing and snowboarding for winter and part of spring, but also unlimited lift access for mountain biking in summer and the start of autumn.
“Cardrona is committed to becoming an all year round resort and we are thrilled about it. We want to reward our loyal season pass holders and the Cardrona Gold benefits are a fantastic opportunity for us to do so,” says Cardrona General Manager Bridget Legnavsky.
Cardrona Gold Pass holders will be entitled to a range of on-mountain benefits, like special coffee rates all season, a 10% discount in the Cardrona retail shop and more. As part of Cardrona’s addition to the Rocky Mountain Super Pass+, Gold Pass holders will also get 21 free days skiing or snowboarding across three of Colorado’s best resorts; Copper Mountain, Steamboat and Winter Park Resort.
Off the mountain, Gold Pass holders will receive a free Real Journeys Real Rewards Card (value $125), which includes unlimited free travel on the TSS Earnslaw Steamship, and massive discounts off Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound cruises, the Te Anau Glowworm Caves, Stuart Island Experience activities, and Walter Peak meals and tours. Accompanying guests will also receive a 20% discount off products eligible for Real Rewards Card discounts.

Cardrona is open from December 27th 2015 to 3rd of April 2016. In February and March, the park will run Fridays through Sundays. The Cardrona 2016 winter season will run from 11th June to 9th October 2016.
The Gold Pass is on sale from the 11th of October through til December 24th.
