In a valiant bid to address the traffic issues of 2022 for skiers and snowboarders heading to Perisher and Thredbo, Cooma Coaches have released new routes and new timetables for the 2023 season.

The public transport bus service will run from June 10 to October 1 and will offer a round trip service from Jindabyne to Bullocks Flat Skitube and Thredbo and Jindabyne to Perisher.

Services will run hourly daily and will also run every thirty minutes from Friday to Sunday for the Perisher route.

Fares range from $6 to $57 depended on adult, child, one way or return and are inclusive of the Kosciuszko National Park fee.

A season ticket is available for $400 for an adult and $200 for a child, though it is not possible to reserve a seat meaning travel is subject to availability. The same goes for the seven day weekly ticket ($135 for adult, $69 for child and $350 for family).

Baggage limits are capped at 1 x 20kg bag per person and there will be capacity for ski equipment.

There are several bus stops within Jindabyne where customers can catch the bus.

The routes start in Jindabyne at Reedys Cutting Road, before making stops at 48 Gippsland Street, 20 Banjo Patterson Crescent, and the Snowy Region Visitor Centre. Selected morning services start at the Station Resort (where you can park your car for free) before stopping at the other Jindabyne pick up points.

Each bus will be clearly marked with its destination. There is also an extended route to East Jindabyne and Tyrolean Village.

Customers can book ahead to secure their seat or just turn up and go.
