Anthony Bartl

Anthony Bartl, a C1 Quadriplegic only able to move his head, revels in living life to the full. Despite his severe disability, not having any movement or feeling below his neck and having to breathe via artificial ventilation he has been snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, flown in a motorised hang glider, hot-air ballooned, sailed a boat and safaried in South Africa. He became the first person in Australia to finish secondary school, as well as attain a university degree, with such a high level of disability. He is now hoping to become a primary school teacher.
