Four Aussies have found themselves in Queenstown District Court dock after knowingly using free lift passes obtained by an associate of the four who worked as a team member at Cardrona.
The four used pre-paid season passes that had not been claimed and a local Wanaka resident has been charged with accessing the Cardrona computer to provide free passes, as reported by Stuff.co.nz.
The four Australians have repaid Cardrona Ski Area $160 per day skiing for four consecutive days of skiing and also donated to the Salvation Army.
They have been discharged without conviction as there was not enough time before their return to Australia to consider police diversion.
