Learn to speak German and train to be a ski instructor in St Anton course this northern summer.
SnoworksGAP has launched a new course combining German language lessons with an Austrian ski instructor qualification that guarantees employment in St Anton for winter 2017-18 for successful candidates.
The course takes place on the high altitude glacier in Hintertux, Austria, for three weeks during the summer and qualifies students at the first level of the Austrian ski instructor system known as the Antwärter. Once qualified, there’s a guaranteed job available with the Arlberg Ski School in the world famous resort of St Anton.
Director of Snoworks GAP, Lee Townend, comments: “Our summer course provides both value for money and a guaranteed job during the winter season for our students. Summer in the Austrian Alps is a fantastic place to train and unlike many other GAP courses, you’re qualified well before the winter starts and therefore waste no time before earning money in resort.
Our new German language lessons will help to get pupils up to the required standard needed to work in St Anton and this is an important aspect of the course”.
Course dates: July 4 to 25, 2017*
Cost: £3,800 including, 8 days’ training with an Austrian Skiführer (highest level trainer), 10 days’ Antwärter Austrian level 1 examination, half board accommodation in the four star hotel NeuHintertux for the duration of the course, lift pass for the duration of the course, return airport transfers from Munich airport, guaranteed job in St Anton for the 2017-18 winter season, German language lessons.
